\"ImageLa carte HiFive1 int\u00e9grant le SoC FE310<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Le Freedom Everywhere 310 (FE310) de la startup am\u00e9ricaine SiFive est le premier SoC pour Arduino compl\u00e8tement open source. C’est aussi le premier SoC RISC-V (\u00e0 prononcer \u00ab Risk-Five \u00bb) disponible dans le commerce. L\u2019entreprise vient de pr\u00e9senter son projet sur le site de financement collaboratif CrowdSupply<\/a>. Il est possible de commander une carte HiFive 1, int\u00e9grant le SoC pour seulement 15 dollars, les premi\u00e8res livraisons \u00e9tant pr\u00e9vues pour la fin d\u00e9cembre 2016.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

La puce utilise une architecture RISC-V ouverte de plus en plus populaire. Si les processeurs open source ont tendance \u00e0 se suivre et se ressembler, RISC-V est le premier \u00e0 viser le march\u00e9 des terminaux mobiles gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une licence libre, une architecture moderne et un nombre important de logiciels compatibles.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Une b\u00eate de course open source<\/h4>\n<\/p>\n

Cadenc\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de 320 MHz, le FE310 est nettement plus rapide qu\u2019un Cortex-M0+. Il atteint 1,61 DMIPS\/MHz (Dhrystone Million Instructions per Second), et il dispose d\u2019un cache de 16 Ko pour les instructions, et de 16 Ko pour les donn\u00e9es. Le HiFive1 propose aussi un contr\u00f4leur SPI, un connecteur \u00e0 19 broches pour un p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique, un connecteur \u00e0 9 broches pour un r\u00e9gulateur \u00e0 largeur d\u2019impulsion ainsi qu\u2019un SSD externe de 128 Mo. L\u2019ensemble est compatible avec l\u2019environnement de d\u00e9veloppement Arduino. De plus, les codes sources des SDK et des RTL (Register Transfer Level), une description de l\u2019architecture, sont disponible sur GitHub<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
