Une entreprise isra\u00e9lienne sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 informatique, nomm\u00e9e CTS Labs<\/a>, pr\u00e9tend avoir trouv\u00e9 13 failles de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 majeures sur les CPU utilisant l\u2019architecture Zen d\u2019AMD (Epyc et Ryzen). Ces vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 class\u00e9es en 4 cat\u00e9gories et ne concernent pas directement les c\u0153urs des CPU, mais deux autres puces faisant partie de leur structure\u00a0: un Secure Processor sign\u00e9 ARM (ou microprocesseur ayant pour fonction le cryptage des donn\u00e9es) et le chipset int\u00e9gr\u00e9 ASMedia (ou Promontory Chipset, reliant le CPU \u00e0 l\u2019I\/O de la carte m\u00e8re et ses p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques, le Wi-Fi, etc..). <\/p>\n

Ryzenfall
<\/h3>\n

\"Image<\/span><\/span>Cette vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 permettrait aux pirates de prendre le contr\u00f4le du Secure Processor et d\u2019utiliser ses privil\u00e8ges pour lire et \u00e9crire des donn\u00e9es dans la zone de m\u00e9moire prot\u00e9g\u00e9e (SMRAM et Windows Credential Guard). De plus, Windows Credential Guard pourrait \u00eatre contourn\u00e9 et les certificats vol\u00e9s pour infiltrer un r\u00e9seau Windows. Combin\u00e9 \u00e0 Masterkey, cette vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 peut \u00eatre exploit\u00e9e pour installer un malware persistant dans le Secure Processor dans un but d\u2019espionnage. Ryzenfall serait pr\u00e9sent sur les Ryzen, Ryzen Pro et Threadripper.<\/p>\n

Fallout <\/h3>\n

Cette faille permet aussi d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 la zone de m\u00e9moire prot\u00e9g\u00e9e comme Ryzenfall, mais peut \u00eatre aussi utilis\u00e9e pour contourner le syst\u00e8me de protection de flash du BIOS. Fallout concernerait seulement les CPU EPYC.<\/p>\n

Chimera
<\/h3>\n

Chimera consiste en deux portes d\u00e9rob\u00e9es (ou backdoors), l\u2019une bas\u00e9e sur le firmware, l\u2019autre sur le hardware. Elles permettent aux pirates d\u2019injecter un code malicieux dans le Promontory Chipset et de lancer des attaques via p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques USB, SATA, PCIe ou par Wi-Fi, Bluetooth et r\u00e9seau. Une puce infect\u00e9e peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour lancer des attaques bas\u00e9es sur un acc\u00e8s direct \u00e0 la m\u00e9moire (Direct Memory Access ou DMA). Tous les processeurs Ryzen et Ryzen Pro seraient affect\u00e9s, mais pas EPYC.<\/p>\n

Masterkey
<\/h3>\n

Masterkey exploiterait plusieurs vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s du firmware du Secure Processor permettant aux pirates de l\u2019infecter et de contourner ses s\u00e9curit\u00e9s (comme le SEV et fTPM<\/a>). Ces vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s affecteraient les processeurs EPYC, Ryzen, Ryzen pro et Ryzen mobiles et permettrait de voler les certificats d\u2019un r\u00e9seau et de rendre les syst\u00e8mes non fonctionnels en corrompant le code firmware.<\/p>\n
