Kingston rafraichit sa gamme de SSD NVMe avec deux nouvelles s\u00e9ries. Les SSD A2000, successeurs des A1000, visent plut\u00f4t l\u2019entr\u00e9e de gamme. Comme pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment, la marque les a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s avec un objectif sp\u00e9cifique en t\u00eate : proposer des SSD NVMe moins chers que des SSD SATA. La s\u00e9rie de SSD KC2000 quant \u00e0 elle se destine plut\u00f4t au haut de gamme. L\u2019accent est en effet davantage mis sur les performances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afin de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts de sa s\u00e9rie A2000, Kingston indique s\u2019approvisionner en contr\u00f4leurs NVMe bon march\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s de plusieurs fabricants : Silicon Motion (SM2263-series) et Phison. Quant \u00e0 la m\u00e9moire 3D TLC NAND, elle est fournie par Toshiba. Bien que cela puisse introduire des variations de performance, l\u2019entreprise assure que la qualit\u00e9 reste inchang\u00e9e pour l’ensemble de la gamme. Kingston promet des vitesses s\u00e9quentielles en lecture allant jusqu’\u00e0 2000 Mo\/s et 1500 Mo\/s en \u00e9criture. Trois capacit\u00e9s sont pr\u00e9vues : 240, 480 et 960 Go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En ce qui concerne les SSD KC2000, les performances devraient atteindre 3000 Mo\/s en lecture et 2000 Mo\/s en \u00e9criture s\u00e9quentielles. Contrairement \u00e0 leurs homologues de niveau inf\u00e9rieur, ils embarquent tous un contr\u00f4leur SMI SM2262en, coupl\u00e9 \u00e0 de la m\u00e9moire flash 3D TLC NAND de chez Intel cette fois-ci. Les capacit\u00e9s vont de 256 Go \u00e0 2 To.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ces disques SSD devraient \u00eatre disponibles en mars ou avril 2019. Kingston n\u2019a pas communiqu\u00e9 les prix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
