Le porte-\u00e9tendard des processeurs Comet Lake-S d\u2019Intel<\/a> est le Core i9-10900K, un mod\u00e8le arm\u00e9 de 10 c\u0153urs \/ 20 threads. Celui-ci est capable de monter \u00e0 5,3 GHz sur un seul c\u0153ur et \u00e0 4,9 GHz sur l\u2019ensemble de ses c\u0153urs. Vous pouvez le voir d\u00e9fier un Ryzen 9 3900X et Ryzen 3950X en applicatif et en jeu ici<\/a>. Pour en revenir \u00e0 sa fr\u00e9quence, on sait qu\u2019il est possible de la pousser \u00e0 5,4 GHz sur ses dix c\u0153urs<\/a> avec un kit de watercooling. Alors quand des overclockeurs professionnels passent \u00e0 de l’h\u00e9lium liquide \u00e0 -269 \u00b0C, \u00e7a donne du 7,707 GHz sur tous les c\u0153urs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

On doit ce record<\/a> aux d\u00e9nomm\u00e9s Elmor, Massman et Shamino. Ils l’ont \u00e9tabli lors d’un \u00e9v\u00e9nement d’overclocking organis\u00e9 par Asus. La machine utilis\u00e9e embarque une carte m\u00e8re Asus ROG Maximus XII Apex et une barrette m\u00e9moire G.Skill Trident Z RGB. La tension affich\u00e9e de la puce est de 1,194V.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7613,19 MHz pour le Core i9-9900K<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 titre de comparaison, le record d\u2019overclocking pour l\u2019anc\u00eatre du Core i9-10900K, le Core i9-9900K, est de 7613,19 MHz. Un processeur qui a pourtant deux c\u0153urs en moins (8 c\u0153urs \/ 16 threads). L’auteur de ce record, Der8auer, avait aussi eu recours \u00e0 de l’h\u00e9lium liquide. R\u00e9alis\u00e9 en 2018, il n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 battu depuis. Cela met donc en perspective la prouesse r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00e9quipe d\u2019Elmor, ainsi que les am\u00e9liorations apport\u00e9es par Intel au silicium de ses puces Comet Lake-S. Bien qu\u2019elles reposent toujours sur l\u2019architecture Skylake, leur potentiel d’overclocking est \u00e0 l’\u00e9vidence sup\u00e9rieur. On verra dans les prochains mois s\u2019il est possible de monter le Core i9-10900K au-del\u00e0 de 7,707 GHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enfin, toujours dans le domaine de l’overclocking mais du c\u00f4t\u00e9 d’AMD cette fois, sachez que Der8auer a tout r\u00e9cemment fait d\u00e9passer la barre des 8,1 GHz \u00e0 un AMD FX-8350<\/a>. Pour rappel, le FX-8350 est un 8 c\u0153urs \/ 8 threads sorti en 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
