NVIDIA annonce enfin son nouveau processeur graphique pour PC portables\u00a0: GeForce MX450<\/a>. Peu de sp\u00e9cifications ont pour l\u2019instant \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9voil\u00e9e sur le nouveau GPU, si ce n\u2019est qu\u2019il s\u2019agit de la premi\u00e8re carte GeForce \u00e0 introduire le PCI Express 4.0. Pour l\u2019instant seuls les GPU NVIDIA A100<\/a>, bas\u00e9s sur Amp\u00e8re, embarquent cette fonctionnalit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Destin\u00e9e \u00e0 contrer les iGPU Vega d\u2019AMD, mais aussi les GPU Xe DG1 d\u2019Intel, la GeForce MX450 devrait probablement accompagner les CPU Intel Tiger Lake<\/a> dans de prochains PC portables d\u2019entr\u00e9e et moyen de gamme. Si l\u2019on en croit les rumeurs, elle devrait proposer des performances similaires aux GTX 1650, mais avec une consommation r\u00e9duite \u00e0 une enveloppe thermique de 25 Watts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e9moire GDDR5 et GDDR6<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pour l\u2019instant NVIDIA pr\u00e9f\u00e8re rester silencieux et ne partage ni les fr\u00e9quences d\u2019horloge ni le nombre de c\u0153urs embarqu\u00e9s par la GeForce MX450. Il est cependant probable que le processeur graphique soit en fait une variante downclock\u00e9e et tronqu\u00e9e du GPU TU117 qui alimente la GTX 1650<\/a>. En revanche, mis \u00e0 part le support du PCI Express 4.0, s\u2019est aussi permis de pr\u00e9ciser que la nouvelle puce se base sur interface m\u00e9moire en GDDR5 et GDDR6. Il est donc possible qu\u2019elle soit d\u00e9clin\u00e9e en deux variantes, une avec de la m\u00e9moire GDDR5 probablement \u00e0 7 Gbit\/s, l\u2019autre avec de la m\u00e9moire GDDR6<\/a> \u00e0 10 Gbit\/s. Quoi qu\u2019il en soit, la GeForce MX450 devrait se retrouver assez vite dans de nouveaux PC portables ax\u00e9s multim\u00e9dia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
