Si au d\u00e9part, on pensait que les GPU Ampere de NVIDIA pourraient se montrer relativement sobres en mati\u00e8re de consommation \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique<\/a>, ce n\u2019est clairement pas le cas<\/a>, bien au contraire. Comme Intel avec ses processeurs Comet Lake-S, NVIDIA a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de l\u00e2cher les watts pour privil\u00e9gier les performances au d\u00e9triment de la consommation. Pour la RTX 3080<\/a>, la firme pr\u00e9conise une alimentation de 750 W. En pratique, celle-ci atteint une consommation moyenne de 335 W. Mais pour le moment, on ne sait pas grand-chose des exigences \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques des autres mod\u00e8les. Asus vient rem\u00e9dier \u00e0 ce probl\u00e8me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour aider les clients \u00e0 se rep\u00e9rer, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 livre un tableau r\u00e9capitulatif des recommandations en fonction des syst\u00e8mes. Celui-ci indique la puissance conseill\u00e9e en fonction de la plate-forme GPU Ampere + CPU. Les processeurs concern\u00e9s sont les Core i5, Core i7, Core i9 et Intel HEDT (Cascade Lake-X par exemple) ; du c\u00f4t\u00e9 d\u2019AMD, les Ryzen 5, Ryzen 7, Ryzen 9 et Ryzen Threadripper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un march\u00e9 des alimentations d\u00e9ficitaire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pour la RTX 3090 et la RTX 3080, il faudrait ainsi un bloc d\u2019alimentation de 750 W lorsque l\u2019une d\u2019elles est associ\u00e9e \u00e0 un Core i5\/i7 ou Ryzen 5\/7 ; 850 W avec un Core i9 ou Ryzen 9 ; enfin, dans le cas de la RTX 3090, un bloc de 1000 W est recommand\u00e9 avec une puce Intel HEDT ou un processeur AMD Threadripper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La RTX 3070 s\u2019av\u00e8re un peu moins gourmande, avec 100 W de moins pour chaque configuration susmentionn\u00e9e, hormis avec les puces HEDT et Threadripper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forc\u00e9ment, certains acqu\u00e9reurs risquent de devoir changer leur bloc d\u2019alimentation. Malheureusement pour eux, la conjoncture sur ce secteur n\u2019est pas bonne. En effet, l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2020 a vu le prix des alimentions partir \u00e0 la hausse. La principale raison est la pand\u00e9mie de coronavirus. Les confinements instaur\u00e9s dans de nombreux pays ont contraint beaucoup de personnes \u00e0 travailler \u00e0 domicile. Par cons\u00e9quent, le march\u00e9 des PC a connu une croissance plus forte que pr\u00e9vue ; dans le m\u00eame temps, la production chinoise a \u00e9t\u00e9 fortement perturb\u00e9e pendant plusieurs mois.
