En septembre dernier, Intel a lanc\u00e9 ses processeurs pour ordinateurs portables Intel Tiger Lake (11e g\u00e9n\u00e9ration)<\/a>. Actuellement, cette gamme grav\u00e9e en 10 nm propose des puces \u00e0 4 c\u0153urs \/ 8 threads au maximum. Peu de temps apr\u00e8s l\u2019officialisation de ces processeurs, Boyd Phelps, vice-pr\u00e9sident du groupe Client Computing d\u2019Intel, a toutefois annonc\u00e9 que des mod\u00e8les Tiger Lake-H \u00e0 8 c\u0153urs \u00e9taient en pr\u00e9paration ; ces derniers devraient d\u00e9barquer d\u00e9but 2021. D\u2019ailleurs, il y a quelques jours, un repr\u00e9sentant des Tiger Lake-H \u00e0 8 c\u0153urs a \u00e9t\u00e9 rep\u00e9r\u00e9 dans UserBenchmark<\/a>. Au tour d\u2019un \u00e9tonnant Core i7-11370H de faire parler de lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00e9busqu\u00e9 par Tum_Apisak<\/a> dans Geekbench 5<\/a>, ce processeur s\u2019arme de 4 c\u0153urs \/ 8 threads et de 12 Mo de cache L3. Cette configuration est peu commune pour une puce de s\u00e9rie H d\u2019Intel, lesquelles b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient traditionnellement de 6 ou 8 c\u0153urs. Ce Core i7-11370H affiche une fr\u00e9quence de base de 3,3 GHz et une fr\u00e9quence Boost de 4,8 GHz ; de belles valeurs qui pr\u00e9sagent peut-\u00eatre d\u2019un TDP plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que celui des actuels Tiger Lake. Cette puce r\u00e9alise un score de 1 420 points en mono-c\u0153ur, 4 964 points en multic\u0153urs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quel TDP pour le Core i7-11370H ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Compar\u00e9s aux prestations de la concurrence, ces r\u00e9sultats sont enthousiasmants. Cette s\u00e9rie de processeurs Tiger Lake-H devra principalement rivaliser avec les APU 4000 Renoir d\u2019AMD<\/a>, du moins jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de leurs successeurs (les Ryzen 5000 Cezanne et\/ou Lulienne<\/a>). Les membres les moins bien dot\u00e9s de cette famille Renoir ont au minimum 6 c\u0153urs \/ 12 threads ; malgr\u00e9 tout, le Core i7-11370H bat le Ryzen 5 4600H dans Geekbench 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En effet, ce dernier obtient en moyenne 980 points en mono-c\u0153ur et 4 808 points en multic\u0153urs. Le Core i7-11370H le devance donc de 44,9 % et 3,2 % respectivement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les fr\u00e9quences plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es et les c\u0153urs CPU Willow Cove expliquent peut-\u00eatre cet avantage. Rappelons que le Ryzen 5 4600H est un 6 c\u0153urs \/ 12 threads qui a des fr\u00e9quences de 3 GHz (base) et 4 GHz (Boost), ainsi que 8 Mo de cache L3. Il h\u00e9rite d\u2019une architecture CPU Zen 2. Son TDP est de 45 W, tandis que celui du Core i7-11370H reste pour l\u2019instant inconnu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
