Le 24 juin, Microsoft devrait pr\u00e9senter le successeur de Windows 10, logiquement baptis\u00e9 Windows 11, lors de l’\u00e9v\u00e8nement What\u2019s Next for Windows<\/em>. En fin de semaine derni\u00e8re, une fuite massive avait donn\u00e9 un bon aper\u00e7u de l\u2019interface de cette version du syst\u00e8me d\u2019exploitation<\/a>. Toutefois, les changements apport\u00e9s par Windows 11 ne se limiteront pas \u00e0 l\u2019aspect visuel ; certains devraient \u00e9galement concerner l\u2019optimisation, notamment des processeurs \u00e0 architecture hybride. Les diagrammes ci-dessus comparent les performances dans divers benchmarks d\u2019une puce Intel Lakefield sous Windows 10 et Windows 11. Pour m\u00e9moire, Lakefield<\/a> est une gamme lanc\u00e9e l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re qui ne contient que deux r\u00e9f\u00e9rences. Les processeurs Lakefield b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019une lithographie 10 nm et adoptent une conception type big.LITTLE\u00a0: ils associent un c\u0153ur haute performance Sunny Cove \u00e0 des c\u0153urs basse consommation Tremont. La r\u00e9f\u00e9rence Lakefield test\u00e9e ici est le Core i5-L16G7<\/a> arm\u00e9 de 5 c\u0153urs \/ 5 threads (1+4). Les tests de HotHardware rapportent des am\u00e9liorations de performances de 2 \u00e0 8 % dans divers benchmarks synth\u00e9tiques, notamment GeekBench 5, Cinebench R23 et PCMark 10. Maintenant, il n\u2019est pas exclu que de tels \u00e9carts se retrouvent aussi pour des processeurs dot\u00e9s d\u2019une architecture plus conventionnelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’\u00e8re des processeurs hybrides chez Intel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dans quelques mois, Intel va plus largement adopter ce type de conception avec sa douzi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, Adler Lake, y compris sur les PC fixes (Alder Lake-S). L’ann\u00e9e, suivante Raptor Lake poursuivrait sur cette voie, avec de possibles processeurs \u00e0 24 c\u0153urs<\/a>. Enfin, du c\u00f4t\u00e9 d\u2019AMD, on envisagerait cette conception pour les APU Strix Point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
