Igor Wallossek a mis la main sur des dessins techniques des prochains sockets LGA1700 et LGA1800<\/a> d\u2019Intel ; le premier accompagnera les processeurs Alder Lake et peut-\u00eatre leurs successeurs, les Raptor Lake, tandis que le second, \u00e9voqu\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois en d\u00e9but de semaine, serait destin\u00e9 aux puces Meteor Lake, les premi\u00e8res en 7 nm d\u2019Intel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revenons-en \u00e0 notre socket LGA1700. Comme son num\u00e9ro l’indique, le nombre de broches augmente de 41,7 % par rapport au socket LGA1200. De plus, ce fut illustr\u00e9 par un clich\u00e9 comparant un processeur en socket LGA1200 \u00e0 une puce en socket LGA1700<\/a>, il abandonne le design carr\u00e9 au profit d\u2019une forme rectangulaire. Ses dimensions passent ainsi de 37,5 mm \u00e0 37,5 x 45 mm. Forc\u00e9ment, cette surface plus \u00e9tendue risque de rendre pas mal d\u2019anciens ventirads inad\u00e9quats, m\u00eame avec un kit de montage ; ceux-ci ne couvriront tout simplement pas l\u2019enti\u00e8ret\u00e9 de l\u2019IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intel encouragerait l\u2019adoption de la norme ATX12VO avec ses processeurs Alder Lake-S<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Des trous de fixation plus \u00e9cart\u00e9s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Au niveau de la configuration des trous de fixation pr\u00e9sents sur la carte m\u00e8re, elle est en 75 x 75 mm pour le socket LGA1200 ; elle passe \u00e0 78 x 78 mm pour le socket LGA1700. Par ailleurs, la distance entre la carte m\u00e8re et le sommet de l\u2019IHS du processeur change : de 7,312 \u00e0 8,249 mm pour le socket LGA1200, elle se r\u00e9duit pour le socket LGA1700, avec des valeurs comprises entre 6,529 et 7,532 mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Igor Wallossek livre aussi des sch\u00e9mas du ventirad qu\u2019Intel fournirait avec ses puces Alder Lake. Son design semble identique \u00e0 celui des dissipateurs CPU Intel traditionnels, exception faite des caract\u00e9ristiques susmentionn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les processeurs Alder Lake<\/a> devraient d\u00e9barquer fin 2021 ou d\u00e9but 2022. Ils b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019une architecture hybride associant deux types de c\u0153urs CPU. Ils prendront \u00e9galement en charge la m\u00e9moire DDR5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
