Pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de la Flash Memory Summit 2020, la X-NAND de l\u2019entreprise Neo Semiconductor est d\u00e9sormais brevet\u00e9e. Dans les grandes lignes, cette m\u00e9moire ambitionne de combiner vitesse de la m\u00e9moire SLC (Single-Level Cell<\/em>) et densit\u00e9 de la m\u00e9moire QLC (Quad-Level Cell<\/em>). Selon la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, la X-NAND multiplie la vitesse de lecture\/\u00e9criture al\u00e9atoires de la QLC NAND par trois et la vitesse de lecture\/\u00e9criture s\u00e9quentielle de 15 \u00e0 30. La X-NAND veut rassembler le meilleur des deux m\u00e9moires susmentionn\u00e9es sans changer le format des dispositifs NAND et avec une int\u00e9gration transparente au sein des syst\u00e8mes. Pour y parvenir, l’architecture X-NAND est con\u00e7ue de telle mani\u00e8re qu\u2019elle “permet \u00e0 un tampon de page d’effectuer des op\u00e9rations de lecture et d’\u00e9criture sur 16 lignes de bits ou plus. Cela permet de multiplier par 16 ou plus le nombre de plans dans la direction Y sans augmenter le nombre total de tampons de page. Par cons\u00e9quent, les d\u00e9bits de donn\u00e9es en lecture et en \u00e9criture sont multipli\u00e9s par 16. De plus, comme la longueur et la capacit\u00e9 de la ligne de bits sont r\u00e9duites \u00e0 1\/16, la vitesse de lecture al\u00e9atoire et la vitesse de v\u00e9rification du programme sont consid\u00e9rablement augment\u00e9es. La consommation d’\u00e9nergie de la ligne de bits est \u00e9galement r\u00e9duite \u00e0 1\/16”.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
