En l\u2019\u00e9tat, la gamme de GPU CMP HX (Cryptocurrency Mining Processor<\/em>) de NVIDIA<\/a> contient quatre r\u00e9f\u00e9rences, les 30HX, 40HX, 50HX et 90HX, pour des taux de hachage Ethereum allant de 26 MH\/s pour le 30HX \u00e0 86 MH\/s pour le 90HX. Sur ce vaisseau amiral plane toutefois l\u2019ombre du GPU GA100<\/a>, qui \u00e9quipe l\u2019actuelle A100 de NVIDIA, et qui pourrait bient\u00f4t int\u00e9grer la s\u00e9rie CMP. L\u2019hypoth\u00e8se de cet ajout semble de plus en plus plausible avec la publication de plusieurs photographies et capture d’\u00e9cran d’un in\u00e9dit CMP 170HX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La fuite de mars faisait miroiter un CMP 220HX capable d\u2019atteindre un taux de hachage de 210 MH\/s<\/a> pour le minage d\u2019Ethereum. La r\u00e9alit\u00e9 est un peu moins glorieuse mais reste all\u00e9chante pour les mineurs\u00a0: ce CMP 170HX d\u00e9livre apparemment 164 MH\/s via Etash pour un TDP de 250 W seulement. Si nous \u00e9crivons “seulement”, c\u2019est parce que dans la gamme actuelle, 250 W correspond au TDP du CMP 50HX. Or, celui-ci plafonne \u00e0 45 MH\/s, soit environ un tiers des performances du 170HX. De fait, cela laisse \u00e9galement de la place \u00e0 NVIDIA pour un \u00e9ventuel 220HX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La derni\u00e8re version de NBMiner r\u00e9tablit une partie des performances mini\u00e8res des GeForce RTX 3000 LHR<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4480 c\u0153urs CUDA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

En mati\u00e8re de sp\u00e9cifications, ce mod\u00e8le 170HX est moins bien loti que l\u2019A100<\/a>. Il poss\u00e8de 4480 c\u0153urs CUDA et 8 Go de m\u00e9moire HBM2E. L\u2019A100 embarque quant \u00e0 lui 6912 c\u0153urs CUDA et jusqu\u2019\u00e0 80 Go de m\u00e9moire HMB2E. Concr\u00e8tement, 6912 c\u0153urs CUDA repr\u00e9sente 84\u00a0% du nombre maximal de c\u0153urs du GPU GA100, et 4480 c\u0153urs, 54\u00a0%. On peut donc supposer que NVIDIA recycle les puces un peu d\u00e9fectueuses pour ce 170HX. Par ailleurs, le 170HX h\u00e9rite d\u2019une interface PCIe Gen1 x4, ce qui lui conf\u00e8re une toute petite bande passante de 250 Mo\/s et le rend ainsi inadapt\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u2019autres usages que le minage de cryptomonnaies. Notez que GPU-Z renseigne une fr\u00e9quence de base de 1140 MHz et une fr\u00e9quence Boost de 1410 MHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enfin, point important\u00a0: cette solution b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019un refroidissement enti\u00e8rement passif. Pour l\u2019instant, NVIDIA n\u2019a fait aucune annonce officielle concernant ce produit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
