Nous ne savons pas pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment quand, mais Intel doit lancer ses processeurs Alder Lake-S \u00e0 l\u2019automne ; certains \u00e9voquent une annonce fin octobre pour une sortie le 19 novembre<\/a>. Dans un premier temps, l’offre se limiterait \u00e0 quelques processeurs K et KF et au chipset haut de gamme Z690. Le site Performance Computing Inquisitor nous donne un aper\u00e7u des fonctionnalit\u00e9s par le biais du diagramme ci-dessous. Pr\u00e9cisons quand m\u00eame qu\u2019Intel n\u2019a pas confirm\u00e9 son authenticit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comme l\u2019on peut s\u2019y attendre, ce chipset Z690 prendrait en charge la m\u00e9moire DDR5-4800 ou DDR4-3200, \u00e0 chaque fois en mode dual channel. En pratique, cela signifie simplement que les fabricants de cartes m\u00e8res auront le choix. Pour les consommateurs, cette h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e9n\u00e9it\u00e9 imposera un peu de vigilance. Concernant le PCIe 5.0, l\u2019autre nouveaut\u00e9 de la plateforme, le diagramme confirme une hypoth\u00e8se d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9voqu\u00e9e en juin dernier : le chipset resterait en PCIe 4.0<\/a>. En effet, les 16 lignes PCIe 5.0 seraient fournies par le processeur ; le chipset se limiterait \u00e0 12 lignes PCIe 4.0 \/ 16 lignes PCIe 3.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une connectivit\u00e9 USB bien fournie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Concernant le DMI (Direct Media Interface), Intel l\u2019aurait mis \u00e0 jour pour proposer 8 lignes PCIe 4.0. La connectivit\u00e9 USB s\u2019annonce solide avec jusqu’\u00e0 quatre ports USB 3.2 2\u00d72 (20 Gb\/s). Pour le Wi-Fi, il faut s\u2019attendre \u00e0 du Wi-Fi 6E voire du Wi-Fi 7 \u00e0 plus long terme. Enfin mentionnons la possibilit\u00e9 de brancher jusqu\u2019\u00e0 6 solutions en SATA III.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
