Call of Duty Vanguard est disponible depuis quelques jours sur consoles et PC. Sur cette derni\u00e8re plateforme, il ne b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie pas d\u2019une prise en charge du ray tracing. En revanche, le jeu d\u2019Activision est compatible \u00e0 la fois avec le NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling<\/em>)<\/a> et l\u2019AMD FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution<\/em>)<\/a> ; l\u2019occasion d\u2019un comparatif direct des deux technologies de super-\u00e9chantillonnage. Rappel d\u2019usage : le DLSS n\u00e9cessite des c\u0153urs Tensor, et donc une carte graphique NVIDIA RTX, tandis que l\u2019AMD FSR est open source et compatible avec “plus d\u2019une centaine de processeurs et cartes graphiques AMD, sans oublier les GPU concurrents compatibles”<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Papadopoulos du site DSOGaming<\/a> a effectu\u00e9 plusieurs capteurs d\u2019\u00e9cran comparatives dont certaines sont disponibles ci-dessus. \u00c0 gauche, c\u2019est de la 4K native ; au milieu, du DLSS ; \u00e0 droite, du FSR. Malheureusement, il ne pr\u00e9cise pas les r\u00e9glages de qualit\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s pour le DLSS et le FSR ; on peut supposer qu\u2019il a opt\u00e9 pour le r\u00e9glage “qualit\u00e9” dans les deux cas. Pr\u00e9cisons que ces captures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es sur un PC \u00e9quip\u00e9 d\u2019un processeur Intel Core i9-9900K, d\u2019une carte graphique NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 et de 16 Go de DDR4-3600 ; l\u2019OS est Windows 10 64-bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DLSS 1 – FSR 0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Selon notre confr\u00e8re, le DLSS de NVIDIA rend nettement mieux que le FSR d\u2019AMD. Il rapporte que le DLSS et le FSR sont indispensables pour jouer en 4K avec une fr\u00e9quence d\u2019images d\u00e9cente m\u00eame sur sa configuration ; que la hausse du nombre d\u2019images par seconde est plus cons\u00e9quente avec le DLSS qu\u2019avec le FSR. Concernant la qualit\u00e9 d\u2019image, John Papadopoulos estime que le DLSS offre une nettet\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle du FSR mais cause en revanche des effets de chatoiement suppl\u00e9mentaires sur les surfaces m\u00e9talliques. Le FSR propose un rendu plus flou mais est \u00e9pargn\u00e9 par ces scintillements. En conclusion, il estime que si le FSR est une “excellente alternative”<\/em>, il “rend moins bien et s\u2019av\u00e8re moins performant”<\/em> que le DLSS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
