AMD a annonc\u00e9 que ses processeurs Ryzen 7000 desktop<\/em> “Raphael” sous architecture Zen 4<\/a> arriveraient au cours du second semestre 2022. Ils introduiront une nouvelle plateforme, l\u2019AM5. Celle-ci offrira notamment une prise en charge de la m\u00e9moire DDR5. Selon des donn\u00e9es contenues dans HWiNFO V7.17 Beta et relay\u00e9es par ComputerBase, AMD planche sur une technologie de profils d\u2019overcloking pr\u00e9d\u00e9finis appel\u00e9e RAMP, acronyme de Ryzen Accelerated Memory Profile<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rien de tr\u00e8s sorcier \u00e0 premi\u00e8re vue, RAMP serait le pendant d\u2019AMD au bien connus profils XMP d\u2019Intel. Les profils XMP 3.0 ont d\u2019ailleurs \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9s par les processeurs Alder Lake. Pour l\u2019instant, nous n\u2019avons aucune autre information au sujet du RAMP si ce n\u2019est ce nom. Notez qu’il existe d\u00e9j\u00e0 une technologie similaire pour les processeurs Ryzen et la DDR4 baptis\u00e9e A-XMP<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASRock publie le premier BIOS X370 qui supporte officiellement les Ryzen 5000<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DDR5 : des ruptures et des prix \u00e9lev\u00e9s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019ajout du RAMP ne sera pas la seule innovation apport\u00e9e par la plateforme AM5. Outre la prise en charge de la m\u00e9moire DDR5 et des profils RAMP donc, elle offrira aussi le support du PCIe 5.0. Par ailleurs, le socket AM5 marquera l\u2019abandon du PGA (Pin Grid Array) et l\u2019adoption du LGA (LGA-1718<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour l\u2019instant, sur le march\u00e9 grand public, il n\u2019y a ni carte graphique ni SSD grand public qui utilisent le PCIe 5.0\u00a0; cette absence ne devrait pas \u00eatre combl\u00e9e avant plusieurs mois. Concernant la m\u00e9moire DDR5, l\u2019offre reste assez faible pour l\u2019instant et les prix plut\u00f4t \u00e9lev\u00e9s (environ 210 euros minimum pour une barrette de 16 Go).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
