Outre le GPU Hopper H100, NVIDIA a annonc\u00e9 les Grace CPU Superchip et Grace Hopper Superchip \u00e0 la GTC 2022. Le premier combine deux processeurs Grace<\/a>. Si le Grace CPU SuperShip est un combo CPU + CPU, le NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchip est un CPU + GPU. Dans les deux cas, NVIDIA a recours \u00e0 une interconnexion NVLink C2C qui offre un d\u00e9bit de 900 Go\/s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chaque CPU Grace poss\u00e8de 72 c\u0153urs Arm V9 (plateforme Neoverse N2<\/a>), ce qui donne 144 c\u0153urs pour le Grace CPU Superchip. Ces c\u0153urs sont entour\u00e9s d’une quantit\u00e9 inconnue de m\u00e9moire LPDDR5x ECC, fonctionnant \u00e0 une bande passante totale de 1 To\/s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NVIDIA sur les platebandes des processeurs Xeon d’Intel et EPYC d’AMD<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

NVIDIA affirme que le Grace CPU Superchip s’av\u00e8re 50 % plus rapide dans le benchmark SPECrate_2017_int_base que deux processeurs EPYC Rome 7742 64 c\u0153urs utilis\u00e9s dans les syst\u00e8mes DGX A100. Concr\u00e8tement, NVIDIA avance un score d\u2019environ 740 points (370 par puce) pour le Grace CPU Superchip. Pr\u00e9cisons que les processeurs EPYC Milan<\/a> \u00e0 64 c\u0153urs obtiennent des r\u00e9sultats avoisinant les 400 points ; ils conservent donc une l\u00e9g\u00e8re avance. Leurs successeurs sous architecture Zen 4 devraient conforter leur leadership. NVIDIA met n\u00e9anmoins en avant une efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique sup\u00e9rieure. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9voque “un rapport performance \/ watt deux fois plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que celui des meilleurs processeurs actuels”<\/em>). Enfin, NVIDIA pr\u00e9cise que le Grace CPU Superchip prend en charge toutes ses suites logicielles et plates-formes, y compris NVIDIA RTX, HPC, NVIDIA AI et NVIDIA Omniverse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concernant le Grace Hopper Superchip, NVIDIA justifie sa plus-value en pr\u00e9cisant que les mod\u00e8les IA actuels ont besoin d’acc\u00e9der rapidement \u00e0 un important pool de m\u00e9moire et qu’ils n\u00e9cessitent une collaboration \u00e9troite entre le CPU et le GPU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans un autre registre, NVIDIA promeut une multitude de configurations disponibles gr\u00e2ce aux SmartNIC ConnectX-7 (CX7). La meilleure combine huit GPU Hopper et un Grace CPU Superchip. Les premiers exemplaires de Grace CPU Superchip sont attendus en d\u00e9but d’ann\u00e9e 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n
