Le 30 mars dernier, Intel a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 ses GPU ACM-G10 et ACM-G11 \u00e0 la base de la s\u00e9rie Arc Alchemist<\/a>. Si vous vous demandez o\u00f9 se situent ces puces en mati\u00e8re de surface et de nombre de transistors par rapport aux GPU NVIDIA et AMD, voici de quoi satisfaire votre curiosit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rappelons que l\u2019ACM-G10 est le meilleur des deux GPU d\u2019Intel. Dans les deux cas, les puces b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019une gravure en 6 nm par TSMC. Sur le papier, les puces d\u2019Intel b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019un petit avantage : la plupart des GPU Navi 2x reposent sur le 7 nm tandis que les GPU GA des RTX 3000 de NVIDIA sont grav\u00e9s en 8 nm par Samsung. Seul le GPU Navi 24 d\u2019AMD, qui \u00e9quipe les RX 6500 \/ 6400 \/ 6300, est \u00e9galement bas\u00e9 sur le N6 de TSMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACM-G10<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Avec une surface de 406 mm\u00b2 et 21,7 milliards de transistors, le GPU ACM-G10 se situe entre les GPU Navi 21 et Navi 22 d\u2019AMD ; GA103 et GA104 de NVIDIA bien que le nombre de transistors du premier soit toujours inconnu. C\u00f4t\u00e9 performance en revanche, avec une puissance FP32 de 13,5 TFLOPS, le GPU d\u2019Intel boxe plut\u00f4t dans la cat\u00e9gorie des GPU Navi 22 et GA104.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACM-G11<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

L’ACM-G11 n\u2019est pas un GPU tr\u00e8s impressionnant et se place m\u00eame derri\u00e8re les Navi 24 d’AMD et GA102 de NVIDIA. Ses principaux atouts sont un bus m\u00e9moire de 96 bits, une interface PCIe 4.0 x8 ainsi qu\u2019une des moteurs de d\u2019encodage\/d\u00e9codage plus modernes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vous l\u2019aurez constat\u00e9, les GPU d\u2019Intel ne se distinguent pas vraiment. Dans l\u2019ensemble, leurs sp\u00e9cifications ne d\u00e9notent pas \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de celles des GPU RDNA 2 et Ampere de NVIDIA ; seulement ces deux architectures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9es en 2020. Si l’ACM-G10 reste dans le coup aujourd\u2019hui, on voit mal comment il pourra rivaliser avec les GPU RDNA 3 d’AMD et Ada Lovelace de NVIDIA haut de gamme attendus cet automne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
