La treizi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de Core, Raptor Lake, cens\u00e9e \u00eatre lanc\u00e9e avant la fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e<\/a>, offrira un nombre de c\u0153urs CPU plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que la douzi\u00e8me, Alder Lake<\/a>. De 16 c\u0153urs \/ 24 threads en 8 P-cores + 8 E-cores au mieux, cette gamme Raptor Lake proposera jusqu’\u00e0 24 c\u0153urs \/ 32 threads<\/a> gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une quantit\u00e9 d\u2019E-cores doubl\u00e9e. Ce ne serait pas sa seule plus-value \u00e0 en croire une capture d\u2019\u00e9cran publi\u00e9e sur Twitter par OneRaichu. Les processeurs Raptor Lake recevraient \u00e9galement des caches L2 et L3 plus importants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’architecture Alder Lake accorde 1280 Ko de cache L2 et 3072 Ko de cache L3 \u00e0 chaque c\u0153ur Golden Cove\u00a0; un cluster de 2048 Ko de cache L2 et 3072 Ko de cache L3 par groupe de quatre c\u0153urs Gracemont (soit deux clusters max). Dans le cas d\u2019un processeur tel que le Core i9-12900K, cette configuration donne 14 Mo de cache L2 et 30 Mo de cache L3 (Intel Smart Cache), soit 44 Mo de cache L2+L3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour les processeurs Raptor Lake, la publication de OneRaichu sugg\u00e8re 2 Mo de cache L2 pour chaque c\u0153ur Raptor Cove et 4 Mo par clusters de c\u0153urs Gracemont ; cela donne 16 Mo pour 8 c\u0153urs Raptor Cove, 16 Mo pour 16 c\u0153urs Gracemont. La quantit\u00e9 de cache L3 par groupe de 4 c\u0153urs Gracemont ne changerait pas (3 Mo) ; mais avec 8 c\u0153urs suppl\u00e9mentaires, viennent math\u00e9matiquement s\u2019ajouter 6 Mo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le meilleur processeur Raptor Lake desktop, appelons-le Core i9-13900, aurait ainsi 68 Mo de cache en tout, soit 24 Mo de plus que le Core i9-12900.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
