La plateforme Alder Lake prend en charge le PCIe 5.0 depuis novembre 2021, soit maintenant sept mois, mais jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, aucun dispositif n\u2019est en mesure de tirer parti de cette interface. Cela devrait changer avant la fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e : Apacer et Zadak ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 les premiers SSD M.2 PCIe Gen 5 x4, les AS2280F5 et TWSG5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ces deux SSD NVMe 2.0 offrent des vitesses de lecture et d\u2019\u00e9criture de respectivement 13 000 Mo\/s et 12 000 Mo\/s. Ils poss\u00e8dent tous deux un dissipateur en aluminium pr\u00e9install\u00e9. La seule diff\u00e9rence entre ces deux versions et que l\u2019une adopte le design Apacer, l\u2019autre le design Zadak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les caract\u00e9ristiques divulgu\u00e9es restent succinctes. Outres celles mentionn\u00e9es ci-dessus, il est question de technologies de protection int\u00e9gr\u00e9es des donn\u00e9es et d\u2019une garantie de cinq ans. Nulle mention du contr\u00f4leur utilis\u00e9 (Phison ?) ou des capacit\u00e9s, et encore moins de tarifs. Le communiqu\u00e9 se limite \u00e0 \u00e9voquer un lancement avant la fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Des SSD et cartes graphiques PCIe 5.0 en 2022 ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Actuellement, la plateforme Intel Alder Lake est la seule \u00e0 proposer le PCIe 5.0 pour les solutions grand public. AMD a confirm\u00e9 lors de sa keynote d\u2019hier que le socket AM5 des Ryzen 7000 “Raphael” <\/a>supporterait cette interface sur 24 lignes. MSI a ensuite pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que le chipset X670E prendrait en charge le PCIe 5.0 tant sur les connecteurs PCIe que sur les emplacements M.2 tandis que les cartes m\u00e8res \u00e9quip\u00e9es du chipset X670 le feraient uniquement sur les emplacements M.2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour les dispositifs compatibles, l\u2019annonce d\u2019Apacer et Zadak sugg\u00e8re en tout cas que les premiers SSD PCIe 5.0 seront disponibles d\u2019ici quelques mois. Il y a pas mal d’incertitude pour les cartes graphiques. Les futures GeForce RTX 4000 Series “Ada Lovelace” resteraient en PCIe 4.0<\/a> ; le titre de premi\u00e8re carte graphique grand public PCIe 5.0 reviendrait \u00e0 l\u2019AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
