AMD a profit\u00e9 de son Financial Analyst Day<\/em> pour livrer quelques informations suppl\u00e9mentaires au sujet des processeurs Ryzen 7000<\/a>. Lors du Computex 2022, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 avait annonc\u00e9 une hausse des performances de 15 % en mono-c\u0153ur. De nouvelles diapositives r\u00e9v\u00e8lent que l\u2019augmentation des IPC (instructions par cycle) se situe entre 8 et 10 % ; que les processeurs Zen 4 apportent une am\u00e9lioration de plus de 25 % du ratio performance \/ watt et de plus de 35 % de performance globale par rapport \u00e0 ceux sous architecture Zen 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qu\u2019AMD clarifie la hausse des IPC devrait en rassurer certains ; ceux qui trouvaient la valeur de 15 % en mono-c\u0153ur assez faible. En effet, avec une fr\u00e9quence de 5,5 GHz, une am\u00e9lioration de seulement 15 % des performances en mono-c\u0153ur ne pr\u00e9sageait pas d\u2019\u00e9normes gains d\u2019IPC. De fait, Robert Hallock a bien pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 par la suite que ces 15 % repr\u00e9sentaient une estimation volontairement basse<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concernant l’\u00e9l\u00e9vation de 25 % des performances par watt et les 35 % de performance globale suppl\u00e9mentaires, ces valeurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenues en opposant un Ryzen 7000 \u00e0 16 c\u0153urs \/ 32 threads \u00e0 un Ryzen 9 5950X (\u00e9galement muni de 16 c\u0153urs \/ 32 threads) dans Cinebench en test multic\u0153ur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
