Apr\u00e8s un trio de processeurs Snapdragon pour consoles portables<\/a>, Qualcomm continue de mettre \u00e0 jour son catalogue, en revenant cette fois du c\u00f4t\u00e9 des puces pour smartphones : l\u2019entreprise am\u00e9ricaine a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 son Snapdragon 7s Gen 2<\/strong>. \u00c0 l\u2019instar du Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, c\u2019est une puce grav\u00e9e en 4 nm<\/a> ; seulement le 7s est moins haut de gamme que 7+<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 poss\u00e8de un CPU Kryo \u00e0 8 c\u0153urs. Celui-ci comporte quatre c\u0153urs de performance cadenc\u00e9s \u00e0 2,4 GHz et quatre c\u0153urs d’efficacit\u00e9 cadenc\u00e9s \u00e0 1,95 GHz (il n\u2019y a donc pas de c\u0153ur Prime comme sur Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2<\/strong>). Notez \u00e9galement que le SoC supporte jusqu\u2019\u00e0 12 Go de m\u00e9moire LPDDR5-3200 ou LPDDR4X-2133.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tout le n\u00e9cessaire en mati\u00e8re de connectivi\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pour le GPU et NPU, nous retrouvons des mod\u00e8les Adreno et Hexagon<\/strong> aux caract\u00e9ristiques non sp\u00e9cifi\u00e9es ; Qualcomm se limite aux jeux d\u2019instructions, dont l\u2019INT8+INT16, API (OpenGL ES 3.2,
OpenCL 2.0 FP, Vulkan 1.3) et codecs (H.265 et VP9) support\u00e9s. Le GPU g\u00e8re un \u00e9cran Full HD+ \u00e0 144 Hz ainsi qu\u2019un dispositif externe 4K \u00e0 60 Hz. Sans surprise, il n\u2019y aucune prise en charge mat\u00e9rielle du ray tracing.<\/p>\n\n\n

En mati\u00e8re d\u2019ISP (Image Signal Processor<\/em>), Qualcomm mentionne la prise en charge d\u2019un capteur de 48 m\u00e9gapixels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La plateforme h\u00e9rite d\u2019un modem 5G Snapdragon X62 et d\u2019une connectivit\u00e9 FastConnect 6700 (Bluetooth 5.2 et Wi-Fi 6E<\/strong>). Enfin, elle supporte l\u2019USB Version 3.1 ainsi que les dispositifs de stockage UFS 4.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce processeur est destin\u00e9 \u00e0 des smartphones plus abordables que ceux arm\u00e9s d’un Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2<\/strong>. Pour l’instant, nous ne savons pas quand il fera ses d\u00e9buts, ni dans quels mod\u00e8les. Une certitude : ce ne sera assur\u00e9ment pas au sein des Galaxy S24, dont les caract\u00e9ristiques viennent d’ailleurs d’\u00eatre d\u00e9voil\u00e9es<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
