Samsung a eu une ann\u00e9e suppl\u00e9mentaire<\/strong> pour optimiser son nouveau SoC, et la d\u00e9cision d’abandonner l’Exynos 2300 semble avoir port\u00e9 ses fruits<\/strong>. Les d\u00e9tails de toutes les am\u00e9liorations ne sont pas encore disponibles, mais on en sait quand m\u00eame un peu plus gr\u00e2ce aux derni\u00e8res annonces de Samsung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On constate un progr\u00e8s significatif <\/strong>par rapport \u00e0 l’Exynos 2200, notamment en ce qui concerne le CPU et le GPU (le tout nouveau Xclipse 940) de la nouvelle puce. Rappelons que l\u2019Exynos 2200 n\u2019est pas mise au rebut pour autant puisqu\u2019il va \u00e9quiper les futurs Samsung Galaxy 23 FE.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En plus d’\u00eatre grav\u00e9 en 4 nm<\/strong>, le nouveau chipset de Samsung serait dot\u00e9 de pas moins de 10 c\u0153urs, promettant une puissance bien sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente.<\/a> Samsung peut donc se targuer, avec l’Exynos 2400, d’une am\u00e9lioration de la vitesse de calcul <\/strong>allant jusqu’\u00e0 70 %. L’intelligence artificielle n’est pas en reste, puisque les performances de l’IA ont \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9es<\/strong> par rapport \u00e0 l’Exynos 2200.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’Exynos 2400 met le ray tracing \u00e0 l’honneur avec son GPU Xclipse 940<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cette fois-ci, ce n’est plus le RDNA 2 d’AMD qui est utilis\u00e9 dans l’architecture du GPU, mais la version 3 qui est utilis\u00e9e dans la conception de l’Xclipse 940<\/strong>. Ce n’est pas juste un changement de num\u00e9ro, puisque le processeur graphique est livr\u00e9 avec toute une s\u00e9rie d’am\u00e9liorations au niveau des effets visuels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samsung affirme que son GPU est capable d’afficher, avec le ray tracing, un meilleur rendu des ombres<\/strong>, une meilleure illumination globale<\/strong>, mais aussi une r\u00e9fraction de la lumi\u00e8re plus pouss\u00e9e<\/strong> que sur la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de GPU pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En revanche, bien que ces am\u00e9liorations soient notables, l’Exynos 2400, d’apr\u00e8s les derniers tests r\u00e9alis\u00e9s, est moins performant que le Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Adreno 740<\/a>, le SoC de Qualcomm, qui \u00e9quipe actuellement les Samsung Galaxy S23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour l’instant, on sait que le nouveau chipset de Samsung est pr\u00e9vu pour 2024<\/strong>. Il devrait alimenter la nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration des Samsung Galaxy S24 et S24+.<\/a> En ce qui concerne le S24 Ultra, rien n’est encore s\u00fbr pour l’Europe. On sait seulement que le flagship de Samsung devrait \u00eatre \u00e9quip\u00e9 du Snapdragon 8 Gen 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
