Intel a officialis\u00e9 ses Core de 14e g\u00e9n\u00e9ration desktop, alias les Raptor Lake Refresh<\/strong> (la 14e g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de Core laptop est celle des Meteor Lake<\/a>), \u00e0 125 W de PBP (puissance de base du processeur), hier. Les premiers exemplaires disponibles, propos\u00e9s aux m\u00eames prix que ceux de la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente g\u00e9n\u00e9ration<\/a>, sont ainsi les Core i9-14900K \/ KF, Core i7-14700K \/ KF et Core i5-14600K \/ KF. D\u2019ici quelques semaines, d\u00e9but 2024 (sans doute lors du CES), la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 introduira des processeurs \u00e0 65 W de PBP, parmi lesquels le Core i5-14400<\/strong>. Il vient de faire un passage dans Geekbench.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le logiciel indique que ce processeur poss\u00e8de 10 c\u0153urs \/ 16 threads, dans une configuration \u00e0 6 P-Cores et 4 E-Cores. La puce a une fr\u00e9quence de base de 2,5 GHz et une fr\u00e9quence Turbo de 4,7 GHz. C\u2019est donc une version tr\u00e8s l\u00e9g\u00e8rement am\u00e9lior\u00e9e du Core i5-13400<\/strong> : ce dernier a la m\u00eame quantit\u00e9 de c\u0153urs \/ threads, mais des fr\u00e9quences de respectivement 2,5 GHz et 4,6 GHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Install\u00e9 sur une carte m\u00e8re B760 Frozen de Colorful, le Core i5-14400 r\u00e9alise des scores surprenants de 2464 points en ST et 13 373 points en MT. Pour la comparaison, le Core i5-13400 a des moyennes de 2270 et 10 394 points respectivement ; l\u2019entr\u00e9e la plus r\u00e9cente donne n\u00e9anmoins 2401 points et 11 520 points.<\/p>\n\n\n

Des scores qui sur\u00e9valuent l’\u00e9cart entre les deux Core<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sur le papier, un tel \u00e9cart entre les deux g\u00e9n\u00e9rations est injustifi\u00e9<\/strong> ; en effet, selon les propres mesures d’Intel, \u00e0 Core \u00e9quivalent, le \u00ab bond \u00bb g\u00e9n\u00e9rationnel global est plut\u00f4t de 3 %<\/a>. Plusieurs raisons peuvent expliquer l\u2019excellente performance du Core i5-14400 : un possible overclocking, une solution de refroidissement plus \u00e9labor\u00e9e, des optimisations BIOS, et prosa\u00efquement le recours \u00e0 de la m\u00e9moire DDR5-6000 (il est probable que les moyennes pour le Core i5-13400 comprennent de nombreuses configurations avec de la m\u00e9moire bien moins rapide, avec pour effet de tirer les scores vers le bas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De fait, le Core i5 Raptor Lake Refresh est battu par le Core i5-13490F, l\u2019un des processeurs Raptor Lake Black Edition lanc\u00e9s en d\u00e9but d\u2019ann\u00e9e et destin\u00e9 au march\u00e9 asiatique<\/a>. Il y a plusieurs entr\u00e9es \u00e0 plus de 2600 points en mono-c\u0153ur te 13 500 points en multic\u0153urs pour ce Core capable de monter \u00e0 4,8 GHz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
