Ces derniers mois, Google multiplie les annonces concernant ses applications d\u00e9di\u00e9es aux professionnels. On pense notamment \u00e0 Duet AI, un assistant qui veut travailler \u00e0 notre place<\/a>, ou encore \u00e0 Bard, qui peut dor\u00e9navant trier nos mails plus efficacement<\/a>. Clairement l‘intelligence artificielle est au c\u0153ur de la strat\u00e9gie de la firme<\/strong>, et c’est loin d’\u00eatre fini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avec le t\u00e9l\u00e9travail, les conf\u00e9rences et les r\u00e9unions \u00e0 distance se sont multipli\u00e9es<\/strong> au cours de ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Bien conscient de cette tendance, Google a donc eu l’id\u00e9e de mettre en place une nouvelle fonctionnalit\u00e9 sur Google Meet<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prendre la parole d’un simple geste<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Lors d\u2019une conversation avec plusieurs participants, il peut \u00eatre parfois difficile de prendre la parole sans avoir \u00e0 interrompre les autres<\/strong>. Pour d\u2019\u00e9viter ces situations, la firme a lanc\u00e9 il y a quelques ann\u00e9es une fonction \u201cLever la Main\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 l\u2019origine, cette derni\u00e8re permettait d\u2019alerter l’organisateur de la r\u00e9union en cliquant sur un bouton d\u00e9di\u00e9. N\u00e9anmoins, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019IA, il est dor\u00e9navant possible de r\u00e9ellement lever la main<\/strong> pour signifier son envie de parler. Il faut n\u00e9anmoins garder celle-ci lev\u00e9e quelques secondes, histoire d\u2019\u00e9viter toute action non d\u00e9sir\u00e9e.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De plus, Google pr\u00e9cise qu\u2019il vaut mieux ne pas placer sa main devant son visage<\/strong> pour que la d\u00e9tection s’op\u00e8re correctement. Enfin, lorsqu’un participant s\u2019exprime, la fonction se d\u00e9sactive jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la fin de la prise de parole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une fonctionnalit\u00e9 en cours de d\u00e9ploiement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019option n\u2019\u00e9tant pas activ\u00e9e par d\u00e9faut<\/strong>, il faut donc se rendre dans Plus d\u2019options, puis dans R\u00e9actions<\/strong>, afin d’autoriser la fonctionnalit\u00e9 Lever la Main. En revanche, pour le moment, cette derni\u00e8re n\u2019est disponible que pour les versions entreprises de Google Meet<\/strong>, mais une version grand public sera d\u00e9ploy\u00e9e dans les prochaines semaines.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans tous les cas, cet ajout devrait \u00eatre le premier d\u2019une longue s\u00e9rie. Alors que Zoom fait appel \u00e0 l\u2019IA<\/a> depuis peu, la firme am\u00e9ricaine semble enfin se mettre au diapason. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour s\u00e9duire les plus jeunes, Google a \u00e9galement lanc\u00e9 une version \u00e9tudiante de Bard<\/a>, et proposera bient\u00f4t plusieurs fonctionnalit\u00e9s \u00e0 destination des professeurs<\/strong> et maitres de conf\u00e9rence.
