Alors qu\u2019AMD travaille activement \u00e0 la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de ses GPU RDNA 4<\/a>, l\u2019entreprise est confront\u00e9e \u00e0 une nouvelle crise. Cette fois-ci, il ne s\u2019agit pas d\u2019un probl\u00e8me li\u00e9 \u00e0 sa technologie Anti-Lag+ r\u00e9cemment d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9e<\/a>, mais d\u2019une vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 affectant l’ensemble de ses processeurs Zen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selon AMD, tous les CPU des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations 1 \u00e0 4<\/strong> seraient concern\u00e9s par des failles de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Identifi\u00e9es du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du BIOS, elles auraient un impact important sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/strong> des syst\u00e8mes. Elles pourraient notamment compromettre la liaison SPI. Selon les informations partag\u00e9es par la firme, ces vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s pourraient entra\u00eener de s\u00e9rieux probl\u00e8mes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selon AMD les vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s des processeurs Zen sont s\u00e9v\u00e8res<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

AMD affirme que ces failles atteignent un niveau de gravit\u00e9 “\u00e9lev\u00e9”<\/strong>. Les vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s nouvellement d\u00e9couvertes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9crites comme pouvant permettre l’activation de codes arbitraires<\/strong> ainsi que d’autres activit\u00e9s malveillantes. Elles sont divis\u00e9es en quatre vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s CVE<\/strong>, chacune exploitant des failles dans l’interface SPI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour att\u00e9nuer ces risques, AMD a rapidement r\u00e9agi<\/strong> en d\u00e9ployant des correctifs<\/strong>. Ils visent \u00e0 fournir des mesures d’att\u00e9nuation pour certains processeurs AMD Ryzen<\/strong>, EPYC, Threadripper et Embedded. Cependant, des pr\u00e9occupations subsistent quant \u00e0 la disponibilit\u00e9 des correctifs. Notamment en ce qui concerne les produits qu\u2019AMD dont les mise \u00e0 jour ont ralenti, comme les Ryzen 5000G<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 noter que les cartes m\u00e8res bas\u00e9es sur AM5, TRX50 et WRX90 sont s\u00e9curis\u00e9es contre la faille. <\/strong>De plus les cartes int\u00e9grants l‘AM4 sont \u00e9galement prot\u00e9g\u00e9es<\/strong> (Ryzen 3000 et 5000). En revanche les cartes m\u00e8res ne disposant pas encore de ces versions d’AGESA sont expos\u00e9es, il faut donc faire attention. Par exemple, les APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) Ryzen 4000G<\/a> et 5000G ne b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient pas des correctifs<\/strong> pour l’instant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quoi qu\u2019il en soit, AMD a conseill\u00e9 \u00e0 ses usagers de mettre \u00e0 jour<\/strong> vers les derni\u00e8res versions d’AGESA<\/strong>. Ce serait le meilleur moyen de garantir la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riel. En esp\u00e9rant que l\u2019entreprise ne d\u00e9laisse pas ses utilisateurs et apporte rapidement une solution pour les APU qui ne sont plus ou moins mis \u00e0 jour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
