Apr\u00e8s plusieurs mois de rumeurs, de fuites et de sp\u00e9culations, MediaTek a officialis\u00e9 aujourd’hui le Dimensity 9400. Le nouveau chipset haut de gamme du constructeur promet d’\u00eatre un puissant concurrent du futur Snapdragon 8 Gen 4<\/a>, il s’affiche en tout cas comme leader dans les benchmarks sur le calcul IA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MediaTek au sommet avec le NPU 890<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le NPU 890 du Dimensity 9400 est confortablement en t\u00eate de ce benchmark, avec 6773 points. Il d\u00e9passe son pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur, le NPU 790 du Dimensity 9300, qui n’a obtenu que 4911 points, le Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 avec ses maigres 3633 points, et le Neural Engine de l’Apple A17 Pro qui a obtenu 3428 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bien entendu, le Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9 par ce benchmark, il reste donc \u00e0 voir dans quelle mesure il peut am\u00e9liorer le score de son pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur. Les r\u00e9sultats de l’Apple A18 Pro ne sont pas encore publi\u00e9s non plus, et bien s\u00fbr la mise en garde habituelle s’applique dans ce cas – les benchmarks en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral ne se traduisent pas n\u00e9cessairement par des performances dans la vie r\u00e9elle, et ce n’est qu’un benchmark. Il s’agit \u00e9galement d’un benchmark tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9cifique qui teste uniquement les prouesses de traitement de l’intelligence artificielle de l’appareil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une consommation d’\u00e9nergie moindre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le NPU du Dimensity 9400 consommerait 35 % d’\u00e9nergie en moins que son pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur, ce qui est impressionnant si l’on consid\u00e8re qu’il y parvient tout en \u00e9tant beaucoup plus performant. Reste encore \u00e0 voir ce que donnent les nouvelles puces d’Apple et de Qualcomm, tout en constatant que les puces de Google ne sont m\u00eame pas dans ce classement. On constate toutefois une tr\u00e8s nette augmentation des performances entre le Dimensity 8300 Ultra et la version pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. Cette nouvelle puce donc, le Dimensity 9400, ne vient que confirmer les performances de MediaTek dans le domaine, c’est du solide.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
